Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of rlgc.ae (the "website"), operated by RegLex Global Consulting L.L.C-FZ ("RegLex", "we", "us"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. General information, not advice

Everything on this website, including our service pages, Briefings and Smart Insights, is general information about regulatory, compliance, accounting, tax and employment matters. It is not legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. You should not act on it without advice specific to your situation.

Using the website, contacting us or sending us information does not create a client relationship. We act for clients only under a signed engagement letter, after completing our acceptance and due diligence procedures.

RegLex is a regulatory and compliance consultancy. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Our independent AML/CFT audits are compliance reviews, not statutory audits of financial statements.

3. Smart Insights

Smart Insights is a compliance assistant that answers questions from a knowledge base reviewed by RegLex. Its answers are general, may not reflect the latest changes in the law, and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for decisions; speak to an advisor about your specific position. Please do not enter confidential customer information or sensitive personal data.

4. Accuracy of content

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but UAE and international regulation changes frequently. Content reflects our understanding at the date it was published or last reviewed, and we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or free from error.

5. Client testimonials

Testimonials reflect the individual experiences of the clients who gave them, published with their permission. They are not a guarantee of any particular outcome.

6. Intellectual property

The content, design, logos, Briefings and the Smart Insights knowledge base are owned by or licensed to RegLex and protected by intellectual property laws. RegLex and RLGC are our trade names. You may view, download and print content for your own internal, non-commercial use, and share links to our pages. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt our content, or use it to train or build other tools, without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the website:

  • • in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
  • • to send unsolicited advertising, spam or malicious code;
  • • to try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system;
  • • to scrape, harvest or extract data or content by automated means; or
  • • to submit false information or impersonate another person.

8. Links to other websites

The website links to third-party sites, such as regulators' and authorities' websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RegLex is not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including Smart Insights. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law. Our liability to clients is governed by their engagement letters, not by these terms.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

11. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and browser storage on this website.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page. The version in force when you use the website applies.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
